A letter from Rossie - Temporary Pause to Subscriptions

Dear Dekko Fans,

You may have noticed that we haven't had any updates about upcoming releases of new issues. This is because we have experienced some issues which have slowed down our production efforts and have seen multiple issues have their release dates pushed back.

Dekko Comics is an independently run company and this means that while our team is full of passionate and hard working people it is not always able to deal with the size of the demand that services like our monthly subscriptions require.

We want to use our team as fully as we can to allow us to expand the company and successfully scale up the work that we're already doing and this has not proven possible while focusing on creating a new comic every month.

With this in mind, we have taken the very difficult decision to temporarily pause our monthly subscriptions once Issue 12 has been released in January.

We fully intend to restart the service later in 2019 but we don't currently have a fixed idea of when that will be. In the meantime, we want to focus on selling the 12 currently available comics while also working on expanding our business. We also hope to increase the numbers of workshops and commissioned projects that we do.

We apologise for any inconveniences this may have caused as we know some people were hoping to purchase subscriptions for friends and family. We have already contacted our current subscribers to let them know about our decision.

While not an easy decision we feel it is the best way to move forward both for us and our customers and we're excited about the developments that will now be possible and will have more updates on these in the New Year.

This does not mean our other comics will not be available. In January we will have a fully stocked online shop, as well as new variations on our very popular catch-up sets, so keep an eye out for those.

Thank you all of you for your continued support, it means so much to us and we wouldn't be where we are without your enthusiasm and willingness to share what we're doing with others. Our potential growth is made possible by word of mouth so please continue to spread our work with those you know. You guys are great!

We will back with a re-vamped monthly subscription service as soon as possible.

Kindest Regards,

Rossie Stone

If you live in the North of Glasgow and get the ngHomes News you might have seen a reference to the work that we've been doing with their Green Champions group which is a group actively interested in trying to challenge the perception of Climate Change and whose work is inspiring and actively engaging in equal measure.

We're delighted to be showing off the comic that we've created based entirely on the ideas of their members at the launch event on the 10th of September at 4:30pm in Keppoch Campus and Rossie will be there to talk about not only the comic created but the continued progress that we're intending to make in the coming year.
