What are Dekko Comics?

Educational comics that turn KS2 school curriculum content into engaging comic strips, smashing motivational barriers to reading and learning. This especially includes Dyslexia and Autism.

As a bonus they also use colour-coding and footnotes, as well as a dyslexia-friendly font. This way, our comics make learning more accessible and encourage reluctant readers to get into reading, increasing their engagement and learning retention.

Welcome to schoolwork, reimagined!

have we been tested?

Before being officially released to the public, Dekko Comics were tested in six different schools, which concluded that the comics were effectively engaging, clear and memorable educational resources.

Since public release in September 2016, the positive feedback has not stopped there...

Take a look at some free digital samples of the comics, to see how they work and judge their effectiveness for yourself.

The Team

Dekko Comics is made by passionate individuals who want to make a positive change in education through their quality work.

The comics are based on a technique that the creator (Rossie Stone) used for himself in his own school years, as a creative solution to a long struggle with dyslexia.

the characters

Dekko Comics feature many whacky characters. Some are absurd, all of them are entertaining. Have a dekko and see which ones you like best!

Commissions & Workshops

We take commissions where we turn others' material into engaging comics.

We also do workshops where Rossie teaches pupils how to make their own educational comics out of their schoolwork.
